Today, Oceanco's outfitting facilities received a new addition, Project Y726, which was transferred via the Oude Maas River from the company's initial construction site in Zwijndrecht to its final assembly location in Alblasserdam. Here, the yacht will undergo the final phases of construction before being launched for sea trials and eventual delivery.
With a remarkable length of 111 meters and a beam of 16 meters, the Oceanco Y726 boasts an impressive volume, making it one of the largest yachts constructed by the renowned Dutch shipyard. Its compelling exterior, designed by Espen Øino International, encapsulates a sleek and modern silhouette that is sure to turn heads in every port. The interior, a masterpiece by Mark Berryman Design, offers a warm and sophisticated ambiance to accommodate up to 28 guests in unparalleled comfort, all catered to by a 34 crew members.
In a whimsical and characteristic gesture, Rotterdam's graffiti artist I AM EELCO was invited to add his artistic touch onboard during Y726's transportation, bringing a lighthearted flair to this significant milestone in the project's construction. His signature colourful designs added a splash of colour to the yacht's bare white exterior.
The Y726 is not just about size and elegance; it is a treasure trove of amenities that define luxury at sea. Guests can indulge in the yacht's winter garden, relish drinks in the covered cocktail area, or enjoy movies under the stars at the outdoor cinema. The sundeck lounge and private owner's area, complete with a jacuzzi, offer sanctuaries of relaxation, while the entertainment area on the main deck aft features both a jacuzzi and a swimming pool for guests to revel in.
Y726 is a prime example of what can be achieved when all parties at the table work together in a positive and collaborative way.
The interior spaces will be equally impressive, with a cinema, gym, spa complete with sauna and steam room, and a beach club lounge that opens onto the swimming platform, ensuring that there is no shortage of activities for guests. Large windows throughout the vessel provide breathtaking views, enhancing the onboard experience.
As attested by Dan Jackson of Falcon Yacht Management, the Oceanco Y726 represents a collaborative triumph, with all parties involved working in harmony to create something extraordinary. Edske Smit, Oceanco's Project Director, echoes this sentiment, expressing excitement for the next phase of construction and the promise of the Y726 as a spectacular addition to the Oceanco fleet.
At this time it is unknown whether Project Y726 will be joining the global yacht charter fleet, however, if you're interested in chartering a yacht of a similar caliber, take a look at all the available Oceanco yachts for charter.
